About

I’m a 30-year-old woman with a background in communications for non-profits. Business school was the last place in the world I thought I’d end up in. But let’s see how this goes, eh?

Check out these posts for more of my story:

  1. Hey MBA My Way,

My name is Deondrae and I do online outreach for TopMBA.com. I checked out your blog and I loved what I read. Would you be interested in guest blogging for us?

TopMBA is an online resource for MBA applicants. We provide MBA rankings, event information, business school profiles, and MBA admissions advice. We also allow for interaction through our new MBA forum and blog.

If your interested or simply would like to know more about this opportunity, feel free to email me at Deondrae(at)qs.com

    Best,

    Deondrae

  2. Nice blog. Very informative. I like your writing style as well. I too am a nontraditional MBA candidate. Have some acceptances and waiting on two schools that I should hear about in the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to hearing about your journey whether that is UCLA or another one of your schools. Cheers.

    • I’d love to meet, but I think we’re in different parts of California, unfortunately. I’d probably wait until I’ve made my final decisions about schools, too–anonymity has its benefits on this blog 🙂 Your company looks very interesting, though. Much of my background is in content marketing, and I love it! And I have listened in on my share of Marketing Profs webinars…we may have already crossed paths in the past.

  3. I split my time between LA and Palo Alto. Great to know you are listening in on Marketing Profs. I am a guest contributor on Marketing Profs and Content Marketing Institute. Sure, let’s connect when we have both made our final decisions then we can drink to our respective MBA journeys. Happy Tuesday.
